I have worked in Darby steady for about 7 years but have been in the Bitterroot Valley since 2000. I ran pack trips and hunting trips in the Frank church and Selway wilderness for many years. I have a background in fire prevention technology, construction, construction management, and ranch & livestock management.
I know what it takes to keep a home or cabin through the seasons in this country. I have a good relationship with the local contractors. I have project managing experience and practical knowledge of most aspects of construction; from home building to design and layout of ranches.

I am best at being happy and have been the biggest blessing Mom and Dad could ask for. I love doing anything outside, especially helping my dad with our cows. When I can't help dad, I snuggle up with mom. I pretty much run this outfit.
HEIDI HEILAND

I have called Darby home my entire life. I started flying airplanes at the age of 14, at age 16 I soloed five different airplanes – being the youngest female in Montana to ever complete this task – and at age 17 I received my Private Pilot’s License. I was also a three sport athlete, participated in numerous clubs, worked on our family ranch, and graduated as the Valedictorian of my class.
I went on to graduate from the University of Alaska – Fairbanks with an Associates Degree in Process Technology and a Certificate in Instrumentation Technology. I have years of experience in banking and am currently working towards my
CPA.
My passion for excelling continues in my career and personal life as I strive to be the best I can be... all while specializing in raising our daughter and managing Kaleb. ;)
